OUR STORY

At the International Mental Health Foundation (IMHF), we are driven by a profound commitment to bringing awareness to the mental health and disabilities facing people from all walks of life. We believe in a world where every person, irrespective of their mental or physical obstacles, is valued, supported, and provided with opportunities to thrive.

Our story began with a simple yet powerful idea – to combine the strengths of the arts and clinical expertise to foster connection between hearts and minds, celebrating human resilience and empathy. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been working tirelessly to make this vision a reality.

Our mission is to provide compassionate support to individuals facing mental health and disabilities, with a unique focus on building awareness and empowering minds through arts and entertainment. We believe that by leveraging the universal language of art and entertainment, we can let people know they are seen and that they do not have to face their mental health struggles alone.

At the core of our story lies a deep understanding that mental health is a fundamental aspect of overall well-being. We are committed to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and disabilities, and to creating a world where everyone has access to the support and resources they need to thrive.

Our work encompasses a wide range of initiatives, including advocacy, engaging events in the fields of arts and entertainment, education through workshops and seminars, community engagement, and directing funds and resources where they’re needed most. We are proud to be making a difference in the lives of individuals and communities around the world.

As we continue to write our story, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our mission and to the people we serve. We invite you to join us on this journey as we work towards a future where mental health and disabilities are understood, accepted, and supported with compassion and empathy.
